Stop Motion Production process

The frame-by-frame production process for a stop motion animation involved several meticulous and creative steps. The coffee beans and the grinder were physically manipulated in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames are played as a continuous sequence. The total number of individual photos needed for the example animations below exceeded 300.

Final Animations

After all frames were shot, they were compiled and edited using video editing software Adobe After Effects. This is where the animation was pieced together, and additional components, such as product images, text and background music, were added.
